Galmon is First to Offer MOM-Accredited MEWP Operator Training in English and Mandarin

Galmon (S) Pte Ltd, pioneers in the Mobile Elevating Work Platform (MEWP) industry in the Asia-Pacific region, has announced that they have become the first Accredited Training Provider to offer MEWP Operator Courses in both English and Mandarin. The training courses are approved by the Singapore Ministry of Manpower.

Galmon has offered its own structured operator and familiarisation training to customer and employees for many years, but by offering MOM-accredited training, Galmon will now provide a syllabus as prescribed by the Curriculum Advisory Board (CAD).

“Galmon has made safety its highest priority,” said Mr Desmond Ong, Galmon Chief Executive Officer. “Being able to help our customers and employees achieve the goal of obtaining an Operator Licence Card through our MOM-accredited training demonstrates the commitment we have placed on upholding the highest safety and training standards.”

Galmon offers customer training and will conduct operator training for all employees who operate MEWPs. In addition to MEWP Operator Training programmes, Galmon continues to offer its familiarisation and maintenance training.

“In our ongoing efforts to reach out to a diverse range of customers, we are pleased to offer our customers training in either English or Mandarin, allowing them to find a programme that will help them to understand and operate in the safest, most productive way possible.” said Mr Shawn Ong, Galmon Chief Operating Officer.
