Galmon spider lift keeps visitors cool at Our Tampines Hub

Galmon’s Falcon Lift FS320Z pulled a few all-nighters to perform maintenance on the large ceiling fans that keep visitors cool in Our Tampines Hub.

Opened on 6 August 2017, the hub is Singapore’s first integrated lifestyle facility which includes a 5,000-seat stadium with a FIFA-quality football pitch, six rooftop pools, a 30-lane bowling centre, 1,800-seat sports hall, 1km jogging track, six-storey library, and a 400-seat theatre, to name a few.

The hub’s central atrium also features a large community space for events and celebrations. Several large fans are mounted along the atrium’s 27m-high canopy to keep visitors cool.

With its impressive 32m working height, Galmon’s FS320Z spider lift reached up to the canopy easily within minutes.

Its auto-levelling feature also provided the operators with a quick and safe set up.

Weighing just 5,900kg and with minimal point loading, the FS320Z is also ideal for working on the delicate tiled flooring in the atrium.
