CultureSAFE provides a platform for organisations to embark on a WSH culture-building journey beyond WSH infrastructure and competency.
As part of the CultureSAFE Cycle, Galmon has implemented WSH culture-building initiatives to build and sustain a progressive WSH culture.
For instance, as a first step towards cultivating a right WSH mindset among staff, Galmon launched a five-step programme, named the “5S” initiative, which prompts employees to take a closer look at their work environment and see how they can better Sort, Systemise, Shine, Standardise and Sustain their work management system.
Every employee is encouraged to take ownership of their tasks and conduct their own risk assessments actively instead of following established WSH procedures passively.
Since embarking on the CultureSAFE programme in 2014, Galmon has created a safer, healthier workplace for our employees, and delivered safer, better products to our customers.
We are proud that our efforts have been recognised and are committed to strengthen our WSH efforts and cultivate the right safety attitudes among our staff and partners.
