Learning Objectives

The WSQ Operate Forklift course will equip trainees with basic skills, knowledge and attitudes to operate fork lifts safely via the following modules.

CE1: Prepare to carry out forklift operations
CE2: Inspect forklift
CE3: Carry out forklift operations
CE4: Reinstate and hand over forklift

Certification

WSQ Operate Forklift e-certificate and license
Validity: N/A (Refresher recommended by WSHC every 3 years)

Day 1: 08:30am to 18:30pm (theory & assessment)

Day 2: 08:30am to 18:30pm (practical)

Day 3: 08:30am to 17:30pm (practical & assessment)

Assumed Skills and Knowledge

Be able to interpret work instructions and technical information
Ability to listen, speak, read and write the relevant language at proficiency level equivalent to Employability Skills System (ESS) Level 3 and above
Ability to manipulate numbers at Employability Skills System (ESS) Level 3 and above

About Galmon Academy

Galmon Academy is a 6,700sqm, two-storey building located in Tuas, It has both outdoor and indoor practical training areas, 11 air-conditioned classrooms as well as a 300pax auditorium, ideal for holding safety talks and forums.
